So I got a new to me 1993 Seca 2 form a coworker/friend who had owned it for all except 2 years of its life. He did do some major work to it before I bought it from him for low price of $500. I was excited as this was my first bike and it only had 14k on the clock. Bill, the seller, did the clutches over, and the carbs, along with a new head gasket. While riding it "as is" when I bought it, I had to replace the rectifier and got a new battery. As the winter months came (drawing inspiration from radars build) my son totally dismantled it.
While the bie was apart, I acumulated new parts, and upgraded parts for it.
So, what was done...
All the lights:
Either replace with leds, such as the dash.
Replaced headlight with l.e.d.
Or replaced them completely:
I have a rear intergrated taillight for light, brakelight, and turn signals.
And the front turn signals were eliminated and replaced with body mount.
Frame and engine:
All black!
Body:
Lots of bodywork and paint.
I will introduce the tread at this point, but I will add lots of photos as I add to this thread in the future.
Here are some pics for now.....
