What happened while riding your Seca II today?

This happened maybe 20 mins ago. While riding I noticed that every time I use the shift pedal to click in to the next gear the noise seems to be louder than usual, so I make a left down a wooden residential area and shift the gears while riding to see if this noise gives me the same results. Just when I shift in to 3rd gear a Possum pops out of no where. After running this poor thing over I get home and my boots and bike look like someone put ketchup all over it ....smh
