Hi all,
So a recently aquired 92 xj600 has had an electric pump fitted at some point.
So I have a couple of questions.
It all runs fine, but is there a correct or incorrect way for it to be fitted? Just want to check it over.
Also, as it no longer runs on vacuum, the tap has to be in the prime position. Obviously I'm now worried about running out of fuel as i think this means it uses the lower takeoff, so effectively bypassing the reserve.
I'm wondering if it's better to fit a different petcock instead?
And furthermore, if fitting a new petcock, has anyone tried something like the Beta alp to give a fuel level sensor?
