Hi forum.

After completing the rebuild project I had a feeling something was not quite right with the bike, As I had described it was a little noisier than expected and not as quick as I'd have thought it would be. but all in all it started ok and would pull once revs were up. a little quirky around cold start but tbh, nothing really out the ordinary.

Anyway, I recently happened to brush a down pipe (4) after starting and it was bloody hot! but I also touched the opposite down pipe (1) which was much cooler.....

I bought a laser thermometer which arrived yesterday and started the bike, quite quickly cylinders/down pipes 3&4 went up in temp to around 110 degrees C, whilst 1&2 only around 30 degrees. :x

So turned bike off and went to the pub .... So Any pointers for the weekend workshop chaps?

HT's wrongly fitted? Should I swap 1&2?

Cheers
