My friend has a '97 xj 600n and it can't go over 140km/h or 80-90miles/h. It's accelerate like it's only 25kW.
The problem is that we can't find any restrictions on the bike. Checked the carb sync and I can say that it's really bad. We don't sync it yet, but we work on it. Maybe the carb sync can solve the lack of power?
The other thing that happened is when I drove 1.5 hours on the highway and stopped on a fuel station oil coming out of the airbox. Few day later with hot engine I checked the hose that connects the engine and the airbox and smoke (carter gas) comes out. Not very much but more than nothing. I know it isn't normal and I know that it can be because piston rings, too much oil or a completely bad engine (I mean the cylinders are damaged).
Any idea to what can be the problem?
