Pilot jet upgrade - quick question

Hello, quick question - I wanted to upgrade my pilot jets to 20, so I ordered them. Now I pulled my carbs apart only to find out that even though my bike is '97 (UK specs), the carb setup is like on '98 and newer - 100 mains and 15 pilots. 
So is it worth to try out the 20 in or is it too much?
