I just checked the valves on my '92, and all of the intakes were out of spec, but one in particular surprised me: I could not measure *any* clearance on the intake valve for cylinder #3.
Is there anything deeper I should be hunting for that might cause that reading, or is it likely the previous owner just really botched the job?
My thinnest feeler gauge is .03 mm and I couldn't get it in there to save my life. I even went around the cylinders and double-checked my measurements with the same results. (Yes, it was at TDC)
