I've been riding and wrenching on an FZ6 for a while (technically two of them, after the first one's engine exploded). I'm about to go buy a 1992 Seca II as a project to work on this winter that my wife can ride next season. Any important/frustrating things to watch out for?
It started out as a faired version and was partially converted to naked (presumably crashed), and then left to sit for 4 years. I'm assuming there will be the usual neglect problems like rust in the tank and gummed up carbs/lines.
How hard would it be to find a new half fairing here to put on it?
I'm pretty much buying it regardless, as I've already grown attached to the idea and it's only $600. It was a hard call between the seca II and an old CB 500 four.
