French Diversion - CR / Scrambler Project

Hi everyone,
A quick description for a new french rider here.
I have a 1994 "endive" XJ600S wich have around 76 000 Km "in his juice" (not rided since a couple of years). It's an official (but questionable and tired) blue colour.
My project and objective (if I can do) is to learn and get mechanical skills, while trying to clean, improve, and finally customise this bike into a scrambler or cafe racer...
I have no hope to make a real beautifull and perfect CR, but just to make mine.
