I am looking to replace the aftermarket seat that came with my '97 Seca ii with a stock seat. It looks like years 1992-96 use part number 4BR-24730-10-00 and 1997 uses 4EB-24730-20-00. I know there were significant changes to the body work between 96 and 97... Does anyone know if the seat for the 92-96 bikes will fit the 97 or is the body work different enough that there will be fitment issues?
Obviously, the best thing to do is find a 97 for the 97, but they are hard to come by...
Right now all I can find on eBay is a 97 Diversion saddle. I think the pleats are much cooler looking than the smooth saddle we have on the Seca, but the guy wants $100.
So.. Anyone know if another year will fit?
