take a look at the picture. see the vacuum hoses from the manifolds at the cylinders 1 and 4 that go to the fuel cock? the manifolds 2 and 3 are hosed together. this is from yamaha. somewhere in a german xj-forum they wrote it's enough to connect p.e. manifold #3 to the fuel cock for the needed vacuum and tape the other three manifold hose connections. my 51J has all four manifold hosed to the fuel cock and i want to simplify this because it doesn't really work right. i have to turn the fuel cock to PRI to start the bike after a couple of days staying. but i want to be sure to do it right for the engine ealth. what shall i do?
