Mirror Adaptor

So during my journey to get my bike running I eventually had to rebuild the front brake master cylinder. However, after the rebuild, the master cylinder developed a leak. After trying to stop the leak for a few months, I gave up and ordered a Ninja 650r front master cylinder from Radare's guide.

One link mentions buying a Suzuki perch while the other mentions using the perch off of the Secca. I ended up buying the Suzuki perch since I read the post mentioning it first. It also appears that the Seca perch doesn't work.
My question is where do I find an adaptor that works with the stock Seca mirrors in conjunction with the Suzuki perch? I went to the local bike shop today and the adaptors they had did not fit either the Suzuki perch or the Seca mirror. For reference, the adaptor I tried was an 8mm to 10mm adaptor with left-to-right threads.
Also doesn't the adaptor need to be threaded on the outside for the nut on the mirror?
