New rider, Not so new XJ

Hello people, my name is David. I'm new to riding so i'm a major noob when it comes to fixing bikes. I've recently purchased a not-so-new '92 xj600s seca II and am in the process of fixing it up (and making it a streetfighter in the process). I'm really excited and really nervous about trying to fix the bike, but i think ill be able to do it especially with all your help!
