97 Rear Plastics on 96 Frame

Howdy All!
Got some of the rear plastics from a '97 Seca for free and decided to see if I could get them to fit on a '96 frame. I swore I saw someone on the forums do something similar, but when I did my searching, I could not find it. Before I start into making some custom mounts and such, has anyone else done this?
