What have I got myself into...

Hi folks,
New member here and thought I'd say hi...
So I picked up an none running XJ600s from a friend who didn't have room to store it anymore when he moved house. For a day of my time and some heavy lifting when he moved I became the proud owner of a big old heap of motorcycle (I don't even ride! Yet!). I'm always keen on trying to fill my free time with learning something new and this was ideal, although I knew it'd be a big ask for me to do anything with the bike.
Long story short the none runner became a runner although it had been declared off the road and hadn't been started for a few years so I haven't got it road legal yet. My plan was to do something fun with it and learn as much as I could. Now I need to find time to rebuild what is in pieces in my garage and I'm looking as these forums as my motivation, education and inspiration.
Good work so far guys and I'll look forward to getting stuck in.
