Lower pegs = problems with braking and gearing

Soooo... I put lower pegs on my cafe project, resulting in the brake pedal and gear shifter being too high. Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this? On the gear shifter, all I need is a longer screw-thingy (sorry for my lack of technical wording. Not my native language). And clues as to which one could be a fit? I believe I lowered the pegs 5 cm.
