Electrickery gremlins.

I went out on the bike yesterday to pop to the shops, started the bike up and left it to warm up while I put my gear on, came out and it rode just fine to the shops, came out started the bike up put my helmet on and hopped on, put it in to gear and set off then after about 8ft everything went off, engine, lights the lot, it won't do anything on pressing the start button, it won't bump, jump leads from the car don't make a difference, can't any lights on at all, battery is fine and fully charged brand new around 2 weeks ago but checked it anyway. All fuses are fine but even swapped them out for brand new ones just incase. So really scratching my head. A friend is thinking it's the CDI that has gone, what do you guys think?
