Trail Tech Vapor RPM and Speed Issue

Hello,
So I followed the advice of soldering a resistor inline and while I am in neutral it reads perfectly even when I rev. When I get going I notice my rpm's don't go up as high as they should and also I am getting no speed reading. I thought I input my tire circumference correctly, I also feel like my sensor is in the proper place. Has anyone else experienced these issues with the Vapor?
