Wiring usb devices.

Just thought I'd post this, might be useful.
Instead of running a cable to a 12v car accessory/lighter socket, and from there via an adaptor to your usb device (satnav, phone, etc.), how about a more direct connection using one of the above.
They come in various end fittings (usb-a, usb-micro, etc). I haven't tried them yet but, heck, they are cheap as 'chips', as we say (French fries to you guys..!) and might be worth a go.
