I recently bought a Harbor Freight ultrasonic parts cleaner for $82, new. I've been using it to clean all sorts of parts: fuel hoses, plastic brackets, carburetors, valves, hardware, etc, and it has really done an amazing job at getting parts clean. Especially those hard-to-reach parts like carb jets and hard-to-clean parts like the handlebar switch plastic. I even cleaned up some fuel line and vacuum hoses and they came out like-new.

It makes a creepy noise when running which takes some getting used to; very similar to the sound of electric arcing. Here's a video of it in progress:

If you have one of these, what have you cleaned with it and what solvents/soaps do you use in it?
