XJ 600 S '94.... 37 KW to 45 KW???

Hello, in few days I'm buying my first XJ 600. It's '94 diversion model restricted to 37 KW (50 hp). Can anyone give me an advice how to raise it up to 45 KW? Will replacing the carbs do the trick, or there is cheaper way? Thank you (and sorry for my bad english)
