Spark Plug Cap (Resistor Cover) Confusion

Draco and I have been trying to determine which spark plug cap is appropriate. The service manual indicates that these are 10k ohm resistor caps. Draco measured a set of 8 stock caps and found 10k resistence on stock caps on his '92 Seca II.
The 10K ohm spark plug cap is NGK 8351 (LB10EH).
But Yamaha recommends using replacement caps (PN 4BP-82370-00-00) which cross references to an NGK 8060 (LD05F) which is a 5k ohm resistance plug cap.
So help Draco and I decide; which one do you all believe is the appropriate replacement?
