Well today I faced reality and decided to do something to my bike to prepare it for the long winter ahead in an unheated garage. I mixed some Sta-bil into the fuel tank and ran it for a few minutes to allow the mixture to get down into the carbs. I also took the battery out and brought it inside. I've never winterized a bike before and I am not really sure what else I have to do and what to expect next spring. I am thankful that our bikes are air cooled and I don't have to mess with a coolant system.

For those of you that live in a region where the temps drop below freezing , what rituals do you follow for tucking your bike into bed for the winter ?
