So from working on my carbs, I've deduced that I'm going to need to adjust my float height due to my bike bogging down on acceleration and at the 4.3-4.6k RPM range when it warms up. It pulls great everywhere else, so I'm pretty sure my main jets and needle height are set properly.
My question is, if I am going to be adjusting my float height, what's the best way to do it with the SECA II's carbs (US Model)? Do I take them off the bike and do it? If so, do I sit the carbs flat on the table and measure that way? Should I measure them while the bike is on the kickstand and not take them off? Maybe something entirely different?
Any help in how to position the carb body to adjust the float height would be welcomed.
