Cracked Crankcase, considering FZR engine swap

My crackcase cracked due to a low speed accident. I tried QuickSteel epoxy putty and it slowed the leak considerably but the crackcase needs replaced, and when i have the mechanic pull the engine he is recommending a full rebuild or swap due to miles. I have sourced an entire FZR for $600 that has a good engine. Can I swap the FZR engine in there with no issues?
