'94 Diversiont front fork suspension replacement?

Hi,
My front suspension started to leak oil heavily and I guess it doesnt worth a fix because a year ago a mechanic replaced the sealings and the oil but told me that he can't guarantee that it will last as the shiny part of the suspension (dont know the proper name) is in a bad condition.
This suggests to buy a "new" pair, but its pretty much unavailable in the country I live.
Are you guys aware if the same part was used on different motorcycles, so I can google those as well?
