Whenever I am riding and give it some good throttle it flies to redline and doesn't accelerate then will go back to 4k rpm and slowly build up (about 1/4 of what power should be) and then at 6500rpm it will fly to redline I have to let off throttle and barely twist it in order to accelerate anything past just cruising speed.
What might this be?
Replacing chain and sprockets tonight since sprocket is original sprocket with 32k miles on it, had clutch adjusted at Yamaha motorsports so I know clutch is fine.
Any advice would be appreciated
