- No. 3 intake is apparently very tight.
- I'm a little annoyed that there are no number on the shims for cylinder no. 2, but as they are in-spec it's not really an issue (right now).
- Even though 5 valves are out of spec I should only replace 3 of the shims? Is this right?
Cylinder #1
INTAKE
Clearance: 0.09 mm
Shim: 280
New shim: 275
EXHAUST
Clearance: 0.19 mm
Shim: 275
New shim: 275 270 (I'm curious why the same size is recommended by the shim table? Should I not replace it?)
Cylinder #2
INTAKE
Clearance: 0.14 mm
Shim: ? (no number on the shim, measured it as a 276. It is is in-spec anyway...)
New shim: -
EXHAUST
Clearance: 0.21 mm
Shim: ? (no number on the shim, measured it as a size 277. It is is in-spec anyway...)
New shim: -
Cylinder #3
INTAKE
Clearance: ? (the smallest blade I had was 0.04 mm and it would not slide in, so less than 0.04 mm)
Shim: 272
New shim: 260 (assuming clearance is at least 0.00 mm)
EXHAUST
Clearance: 0.19 mm
Shim: 275
New shim: 275 270 (again... why is the same size shim recommended?)
Cylinder #4
INTAKE
Clearance: 0.10 mm
Shim: 282
New shim: 275
EXHAUST
Clearance: 0.25 mm
Shim: 268
New shim: -
