I need some advice and guidence for the next problem I’m stuck on.
Steer started slapping hard since 1000km. Mostly on decelerating from 80 to 60 km/hr.
Front tyre was cupped so fitted new (front and rear) BT46.
This didn’t solve the problem. Replaced wheel bearings and seals for the front wheel and also replaced the steering head bearing (upper and lower) and respected all torques and information as mentioned in the workplace manual.
The problem remains… can you please guide me towards other possible causes and help me find the cause for this dangerous issue.
