Hi everyone.
I recently bought myself my first bike - a used 1996 Yamaha XJ 600S. As it was my first motorcycle, I unfortunatly wasn't as thorough as I could've been.
I need to gain access to the battery, but I am not able to turn the seat-lock more than 3/4 of the way, meaning that the seat won't unlatch.
I realise that the seat-lock is worn out, and needs to be changed - but if anyone can provide a tip on how I can proceed from here (either manipulate the lock, or force the seat open etc.) any advice would be greatly appreciated!
