"Rubber Cushioned" front sprocket?

Has anyone used a "rubber cushioned" front sprocket? Theoretically, they'll be a little quieter and reduce chain noise/vibration, but I'm cautious of anything that's an "upgrade" that wasn't available OEM (tho other bikes have them). I'm all for anything that makes the bike quieter tho!
