So, yesterday as i was on my way to get fuel, my low oil light came on for around 60sec. This was while cruising at 40 mph in 6th on completely level ground only a month or so after an oil change. I know the bike has oil in it as i checked the day prior and ti was a little under the full mark so the only thing i can think is if the bike uses the low oil light for if you hit the reserve fuel tank. it would make sense as i was on 165 miles on one tank at that point after being told the tank holds 150miles.
Can anybody confirm if this is true or was it just seemingly random for the light to go on, i'm not too worried about it as i know the bike has oil and hasn't been running strangely or burning any. Thanks guys.
