So like the title says, I bought the bike not running 1993 seca 2/xj600 and took it to yamaha after my failed attempts to get her running and synced. 2 weeks later yamaha calls me and says, "bike is all done they adjusted some valves, carbs were way off and synced them".
So as I was all excited I jetted down to get my bike! 30 minutes into riding the bike starts to sputter and hang up off the line. Almost every stop sign I get the bike wants to sputter and when start to go it gets worse till I give it alot of gas and clear the carbs. Eventually it gets worse and the bike dies and won't start back up.
Took back to Yamaha dealer and they happily looked it over again and said nothing was wrong and maybe it was my driving style that 3000rpm was too low to cruise at so I got the bike back today, and as directed drove it at higher rpms and non the less it does the same thing!!
I'm beyond furious I didn't take my bike to a dealership and dish out tons of money for a bike that has the same problem! So my question is what can cause my bike to slowly flood time and time again? It always seems like its after 20min-40min when its really warmed up itll start to sputter and try to flood. They said the carbs were all good and so we're needle and floats... I don't know what to do I will be taking it back today and make sure to tell them I want it running right.
