i really don't want to be pulling the silencer system off the bike right now, however there is a problem,

the steel baffle/s in my satinless muffler/exhaust/silencer aren't working - so there is too much noise

the motad system looks brand new but evidently things are not good inside the silencer bit, something's bust

as a temporary measure i am thinking of pushing course steel wool inside carefully together with glass wool

exhaust packing and some stainless mesh then securing it with chicken wire while being sure to leave sufficient

for the engine to tick over, can it be done? tube doesn't seem to come apart,

I can't weld. is my plan a waste of time?, don't know. I guess all i may do is block the central baffle pipe

any comments welcome please.

Bender: I support and oppose many things, but not strongly enough to pick up a pen.
