I'm with Mike on this. On my first couple of rides on the road with my instructor, I forgot to cancel my blinker a couple of times. Subsequently I almost got killed on a roundabout where a driver (rightly) thought I was going to turn off where I wanted to go straight. That was a wakeup call. Blinkers are important. They get people killed.mikee112 wrote: ↑Sat May 07, 2016 11:52 amWoah Eddy.... cancelling your blinker is VERY important, it's one of the main reasons that cars pull out in front of you, they see your blinker and think you're turning, so they think it's safe to pull out !fateddy wrote:
What a dumb thing for them to fail you over.
Actually, my instructor said: "I'd rather have you forget to turn your blinker on and still make the turn, than forget to turn it off and go straight." That stuck with me for a while.
