I think the title covers it. Today I am going to clean at least another carb or two. Work on cracks in the fairing. Maybe more. Gotta find the card reader so I can post pics of my baby! :brow:

Took off the front fairing in preparation for some valve checkage. Work has been kicking my boot and it is dark and depressing and dismal by the time I get home -- so I bought two halogen worklights and a heater for the garage. Musstt.....wrenncchhh!

Trying to figure out what level the shock is on and trying to get it to level 1. But I can seen to get it to budge either way I try to turn it. :(

Hit it with some WD40 and, working from the right side of the bike, turn the base counterclockwise until it stops. Make sure that you're using the handle that comes with the spanner to give you the required leverage.
Better to be over the hill than under it.

Sooooo Mozarkrider, what are you saying?...Let's see.....My XJ is a '92 so that makes it 20 yrs old next Feb......I'll be 55 next week(wait! 55! :o !lemmeseehere....yep 55,(sigh)) That means I'll be 35 yrs older than my XJ. Going by the comic, I'll be a grump with a wild hair or is that a wild hare? :sarcasm: :D :leak:
