My local motorcycle shop wanted $70 to synchronize my carburetors. I'd lost the mercury out of my old synchronizer but for $50 I was able to buy a new synchronizer which would allow me to synch my carbs any time I wanted. I now take the precaution to empty the mercury back into it's storage bottle when I'm not using it. :1Oldman:
