I'm interested in a pair of armored jeans and have no clue which one to pick. Any of you guys own a pair of armored jeans? If yes, give me some feedback on the one you have. I almost purchased a pair of these but I rather hear what you guys think first.

Look for something with good reinforcement in the knees and hips as these areas will be subject to abrasion if you tumble off. I don't own a pair of reinforced jeans (I should though), so no advice on brands.

I bought a pair of cheap ebay jeans they have the Kevlar lining and soft armour pads in the Knees and hips, they feel a bit clunky with the armour in them so I usually wear them without it, they are more comfortable ( I know I should have the armour in :???: )
I've had them a couple of years now and I like them, the denim is a bit thicker than normal jeans so they are a bit hot in the summer, but they "feel" safer than normal jeans ;)
I can't comment on their abrasive quality, I hope I never need to find out !!

EDIT: I just noticed that on this listing they have changed the description of the protective lining now saying it is "ARAMID" not "KEVLAR" ??

EDIT AGAIN: OK just Googled Aramid and that is the name of the strengthened fibre and Kevlar is a trade name for it :)

I have two pairs. One from Italian manufacturer Dainese and one from another main stream manufacturer, but I cannot remember the name. The Dainese version has protection on the knees and part Kevlar/Aramid in the fabric. The other one has a huge Kevlar lining from the top until where you are wearing your boots/shoes (I got myself some Stylmartin's to match the jeans). Very comfortable, have ridden a lot with them. I like them. Never laid down with them though, but they say they are pretty good at that as well.

I've got a pair of Scorpion Coverts that I like. I have no armor in them, but they have pockets for pads. I took a small lowside with little to no scuffing. They're a little heavy, but that's what you want. The sizing information on Revzilla, along with the reviews, was pretty accurate and mine fit just fine. I typically wear 32W in Levis, and the 34s fit me just right.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

I have a pair of Speed and Strength "Dogs of War". I like them alright except the lower legs are too tight. They will barely fit over my pair of Thorogood 8" boots, but will not fit over my Icon's
