Saw a new way to be seen on the bike.

Image

I gotta be honest, I kind of liked it. It looked pretty sweet. He actually had green on the rim, and white on the hubs. Not sure what kind they are, but he was definitely visible!

I feel a bit chav-y liking them, but that's ok. They were pretty novel.

Has anyone tried these black reflective stickers or seen something similar work in person? My helmet is matte black. Think I'll try these out and see how they perform.

Also saw these rim reflector lights in black as well. Looks cool but not sure if I want to do that.

Just got some reflectors in the mail from VFLUO and it looks great. I ordered an armband from their website and can't wait to see how it looks. I have black headgear and jacket so if I tried to keep everything black but visible, this would be the way to go. You could also just buy black reflective tape/material and DIY works too but this was actually easier than finding those items in stores in my area (Even though 3M is just right down the road)

Nice find, I've never seen such reflectors in black, put here some photos when you fit them on helmet, I'm interested how they look on the daylight.

Hey, so I got the stickers on the helmet but they sent me the wrong color armband. I ordered black and I got the one in the picture. I am waiting for the all black armband in the mail now.

I have a promo code if you are going to order something from there. At least I think it is, everything was in french as they are based in Strasbourg. let me know and I'll PM it to you.

Thanks,

Al

So, this is nuts. They are claiming that I have the correct color. False advertising, and I am not buying from them again. They are claiming that the item pictured, is not actually black, and it looks silver - WOW, I wish I was in France right now I'd be making a trip to their location

Don't buy from this place.

That sucks. Though the silver doesn't look bad.

So I ended up getting a refund. They messaged me back saying that they made a mistake and don't actually have a black one as advertised. They refunded me and I got to keep the original which is not bad.

I would like to get some wheel tape, it's on my to-do list. Wouldn't hurt. :)

Last year I had to get a new riding jacket, because I'd lost so much weight. Not a bad problem to have! My old one was a Teknic Supervent Mesh in white/silver, pretty visible but yeah, I lost 45lbs. so no good. A friend of mine sold Cortech and I tried on a GX Sport Air 4.0 in black/hi-viz. It's the first piece of hi-viz I've owned, but MAN you could see that sucker from space. Burns the retinas!

Looks like this:

I like it.
