Yeah, my new Nolan N91 has a pinlock, and I won't go back now. I ride in rain and cold, and I notice that the visor around the pinlock fogs up all the time, but the pinlock very rarely gets any fog on it. every once in a while I will get a little drip that soaks through the silicone bead, which causes it to fog right around the drip, but that's it. While it's annoying, it's still way more safe than using just a regular visor.

Big +1 on the pinlock visor. I have one on my Gmax helmet (they offer the visor as an accessory for snowmobile use) and it works fantastic as you have found too. As such, I will always have a shield like that from now on as well. It truly never really fogs. Almost too good to be true.
