Hi My name is Ronnie Russell and I live on the Isle of Man. UK. I have just bought a 1997 Yamaha XJ600N and I am converting it into a Cafe Racer/Show Bike. The mods will be extensive and include home made 4 into 4 S/S exhaust going up through the swinging arm and exiting at seat. Not really sure why I am doing this , just wanted a project and the Yamaha has a very nice looking engine. Anyhow I will be wanting to post on forum for advice etc so let me in please. Ta

I'll be over there next year mate on the XJ with the missus, so maybe you could throw the kettle on and I could meet a fellow XJ rider :) can't wait to see what the progress goes like, will definitely be keeping a look out.

P.s Welcome to the site.

Hello and welcome to the site! Too bad we're so far apart (I'm in the US). I'm sure there's several of us who'd like to get the original parts that you're going to remove and toss.
1997 Yamaha Seca II - mostly stock, Racetech upgraded forks, FZ6R rear shock, Oxford Adventure Style Heated Grips, Barkbusters Blizzard Cold Weather Handguards, a Scottoiler vSystem chain oiler. My Mileage Tracker Page.
