Hello my name is Richard and I live in the Netherlands. I drive a Yamaha Diversion (Seca II) from 1994 (4BR) for more than 13 years now (assed 78k km). It’s really a very nice bike and I have a lot of things changed, like a Scott oiler, LED backlight with flash function, LED flashlights, LED front lights, electrical fuel pump, Gear Indicator, rear hugger, Laser Duotech exhaust, Heat grips WP Springs etc etc.

I found this website because I have read of upgrading the front brake caliper with a Bluespot, so I bought a Bluespot of an YZF600R, but it won’t fit! It comes against the spokes of the front wheel. So I’m really curious which will fit, who can tell me?

When I was looking at the forum I found a thread about changing the rear wheel, which I didn’t knew was possible, I just want to change the rear wheel not the braking, can someone tell me which wheel fits 1-on-1?

Hi!

Can't help you on the front brakes although I'm sure people have used an R6 caliper? Look through the how to sections on the wall, and the search function - there's a huge amount of info on here :-)

There is also a couple of guides for rear wheel swaps. The only plug and play wheel (that I'm aware of) is the FZR600 wheel from a 3HE bike ('89-93?) it will be marked up 3HE 18x4.00 (compared to the 3.50 that is fitted) to allow a 150 section tyre.

I have searched and what I think is they use a brake caliper of a Fazer 600, but I want to be sure before I buy another caliper, I know of getting of the marks on the spokes, but with YZF600R caliper it's not enough, I have to get a piece out of the 3 spokes as well...

I'm not the only one...viewtopic.php?f=127&t=7774&p=76628&hili ... per#p76628

Hi Richard, Welcome to the forum :)
People fit the blue dot/gold dot calipers after they have done the FZR fork/wheel swap ( twin disc brakes ) don't know if you can fit one with the stock single disc :?
