Introductions...

Hi all, just like to introduce myself, my name is Jake, I live in the frequently wet north England and a few months ago became the proud owner of a somewhat tired 93 Diversion and a stack of spare parts.
Much like everybody else says on here - I didn't buy it because I wanted an xj600, I bought it because I could afford it and after spending 3 years sat in a car wishing I hadn't sold my previous bike it seemed like it would suffice. Since then, a few months have gone by and I'm ashamed to admit a fair bit of that was spent refusing to appreciate what I had while still mourning the sale of my beloved CB500. However, as time went on and the miles racked up I started to realise what a little gem I had stumbled on. Amazingly straightforward mechanics and endless of fun on the road. I then realised the poor girl had 17 previous owners and a pitiful 31,000 miles on the clock, this poor thing has never been loved, and you could see it. So first things first, fix all the mechanical issues, then fix the cosmetics... then it gets fun... I originally planned a restoration hoping to achieve some of the former glory before realising that was a whole lot of work that would quickly be undone when I ride through a winter or two. Instead I decided I will take advantage of the unbreakable engine and make an adventure bike. I'm currently no where near done but it's a long way from where I started.

I look foreword to sharing stories with you all.
