Hi guys an girls new here as you might have guessed.ive just bought a xj 600 1986 an it's in a bit of a bad way engine wise missing a stator an flywheel an cove air filter an the usually indercators an few scratches the engine turns over fine N the wiring needs a little work.ive been looking at parts online an was wondering if people can help. 1 where's the beat place to source parts an 2. Would a stator an flywheel from a later model fit as I'd like to use new parts if possible. Thanks guys :thumbsup:

Hi and welcome to XJ.. I buy my parts from a local salvage site, or if they don't have it I get them from Partzilla.com

Hello and welcome to the site. As for parts, besides the local salvage yards, also check out eBay and Craigslist. Hmm, just noticed your location, not sure if they have Craigslist over there. So eBay might be your best bet.

Good evening Welsh man :)
I'm just next door in Liverpool, I usually source all my parts from eBay.
I've got a Haynes manual but not sure what year it covers, I know it covers my bike.
