Hey everyone,
Recently bought an 82 XJ50 Maxim. I'm new to bikes and riding and just trying to fix up the bike to get it back in good shape. Curious as to what to look into in an older bike and where to find older model parts online. Any pointers on what to look into and what to do to an unknown bike would be great.

Hello and welcome to the site! As for parts for the bike, which 82 Maxim is it? XJ550, XJ650, XJ750? Regardless of which bike, one place that I goto for vintage or just older parts is Z1 Enterprises.

Edit: Ahh, Okay. I just seen in your profile that it's a 650.
