Hello everybody!

Post by Arcrom48 » Sun Apr 16, 2017 11:05 am

Writing from sunny Florida today. I just rescued a very old and ugly 92' XJ from being parted out and scrapped. It had good bones and a good, clean title...So I saved it, cost me $300.00. I always liked these frames. I've built a lot of Cafe bikes...I usually used the Honda CB350 and 450 platforms. But I've been wanting to do something a bit more modern, so now's my chance I guess. I'll try to upload a couple before and after photos. (After the first couple of hours of work). I'll be selling all of the stock Plastics, which are in pretty good condition actually. I like these bikes bare-bones.

Hello and welcome to the site. I was going to say to be sure and save, as best you can anyhow, all the original parts in case you ever wanted to return it to original. Either that or sell them to us here on the forum, eBay, or craigslist. As those parts aren't getting any easier to find.

Hey, thanks for the welcome, radar, Mike and Tony...It's been a bit since I've been on...or doing anything bike related. Been busier than hell with work and just doing a lot of research...and considering my build. I was trying to post a few pics of the old girl, but I can't get pics to load for some reason...much better with wrench's than computers.
