Hey everyone! My name's Dave aka Draco751 on the forum here call me whichever. I hail from Orlando Florida here but am originally from all over up in Michigan. Going on 28 soon I've spent the past many years around various bikes, quads, and cars. With that and growing up with a father that owned an auto repair shop my mechanical skills are fairly decent (but not perfect by any means.)

More about me:
I spent 8 years in the Marine Corps as an infantry machine gunner, motor-t operator, and whatever other busy work was sent my way; admin, supply, mini-van driver, and so on. I own a 10 year old Siberian Husky. I currently work for Motorola working with handheld/mobile radios for some various gov agencies I will refrain from mentioning. Most of my hobbies and projects revolve around computers, electronics, motors, networking, photography, DJing/music, and now recently my newly acquired 93' SECA II.

About my bike:
About a year ago my roommate was looking for a starter bike to learn on and enjoy for some time and after doing some research and hunting we found the 93" SECA for sale locally for a really good price. Long story short he moved to Vega for his work and couldn't bring the bike with him, apparently the jet-ski took priority. So, alas I offered to take the bike off his hands and before I knew it, the bike was now mine.

Already it is nearing 20 years old and with only 7500 miles (exactly) it was in need of some attention! Mostly carb work, and other things that tend to go bad when a bike rests for a while. Luckily it looks like it was garage kept most all of it's life so nothing too major needed to be done.

My involvement in the forum here:
I love forums, I belong to a couple others as well, such as 6thgenaccord and the like. The best thing about forums like this is the user aspect, we're all here to help one another, learn, and just read all sorts of threads pertaining to our bikes or whatever happens to be the hot topic of the moment. Just recently I threw the idea out there about the FAQ here and compared it to other forum FAQs and how one could be set up and how helpful they are and can be for everyone. With that being said I also in a sense volunteered to lend a hand in creating our own here. I'm looking forward to the challenge and welcome any and all input everyone may have!

I look forward to being on the forum here with you guys! :cruise:

I'm outta breath now!
If I only had an hour to live I would spend it at work, because in there an hour feels like an eternity.
