Hey guys, my name is Jim and I'm in Roanoke VA, bought my bike as a basket case with 1/4 of it missing. Brought it home piece by as I figured what each part was and cleaned them, rattle canned and assembled it.
The gas tank looked like a cavern with tons of rust, a cloud when I blew it out, not been used for years.
I used ball bearings and bb's got it clean and used POR and it turned out great
Not knowing where any lines went and the electrical was a mess, now it runs because the guys on this forum really helped me!
Coolest site ever, honestly love the bike and its very cool to slowly making it mine! Not sure its ready to go out of the neighborhood...
