Yep, I wave at all the other motorcyclists/bikers and most return my wave or some even initiate it as soon as they see me.

I will slightly lift two fingers on my left hand and nod just in case you don't wave back.

It really depends on the wind that day. Often I will lift my hand and greet, sometimes it is just two fingers when in a strong cross wind. (And they happen a lot here around the coast. ;) )

Left hand angled down usually, sometimes the Harley-style two finger thing, but usually my whole hand. And I wave at everyone... sportbikes, cruisers, scooters, bicyclists, kids on skateboards, people riding tractors, whatever. It's fun.

Kids are the best. Most of them don't know that my bike is 23 years old, all they know is that it's a motorcycle....and they want one. :)

Yeah, that's pretty cool. Occasionally when a kid sees me, they'll tug on their parent's hand, point at me and wave or say something. I just smile, wave, and sometimes even toot my horn. They love it. zoom-zoom....

I wave like a big-old-dork. Well, to everything on 2-wheels except for guys in leather vests on choppers. They never wave back so I tend not to bother.
