Hello everyone...
Does anyone knows where do we connect this hose?

i was installing the hazards lights on my motorbike and when i remove the fuel tank i noticed that there where this small pipe near the petcock that was connected nowhere with no hose in it.

It doesn't connect to anything. It just passes through the frame. It's the fuel-tank breather hose. Just make sure it's clear and that it passes down through the bike and points at the ground.

Ops...many tks...i put small hose with a screw on it, cause it has some fuel dirtiness ...i have to take it off...

It's actually not a breather but a drain hose. It drains water and spilled gasoline from around the cap. The breather (with the exception of California bikes) is built into the fuel cap and vents through the key hole. Next time you're on your XJ and it's hot, sniff the gas cap key hole :)

There is a little hole cast into the back of the Engine case that the drain hose fits through :) ( so it doesn't flap about too much )

Well, i found a piece of gas tube on my garage and i already installed it , but i cant find that little hole cast that you talk about :???: ...i'll check on the manual to find it...many tks
